Mechanical Conveying

Central Mechanical Systems designs, fabricates and installs many different types of mechanical conveyors. The most popular is the screw conveyor. Others include but not limited to:

• Bulk flow drag conveyors-round or flat bottom
• Slider bed style belt conveyors
• Toughing roller style belt conveyors
• Bucket elevators
• Power roller track conveyors
• Gravity roller track conveyor
• Log decks
• Drag chain bins and conveyors
• Vibratory conveyors
• Modular plastic belt conveyors –mostly used in the food industries

Most of these styles of conveyors work well for short distances, but if the need to convey bulk materials over greater distances, it is usually better to use pneumatic conveying.
